WHEN WILL ITEMS SHIP?

All items are scheduled to ship before the end of November. We will be distributing physical and digital items at the same time so we can process an entire cart at the same time.

HOW WILL DIGITAL ITEMS BE PROVIDED?

Digital tier items will be distributed through BackerKit, utilizing an online download. If other digital download platforms are used for any of the add-on items, you will receive instructions on how to download. We are currently working with our team of authors to finalize the download plan and will notify backers as we get closer to fulfillment,

CAN I PAY FOR MY ITEMS USING PAYPAL?

We do not currently have PayPal functionality set up through BackerKit. If you have a need, reach out to us and we will see what we can do to accommodate your need.

CAN I PLACE AN ORDER FROM OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES?

We did not have the staffing level to set up processes and shipping for every country on the BackerKit list, and assumed most of our readers would be inside the US, so we initially limited distribution to only US residents. However, if you would like to place an order outside the US, reach out to us and we would be happy to see if we can accommodate your specific locale. BE INFORMED…some of our upgraded items, such as leather products, cannot be shipped internationally, but we would be happy to work with you on book packages if you desire. All customs or VAT taxes would be your responsibility.

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER OR RETURN MY ITEMS FOR A FULL REFUND?

We apologize that we are unable to issue refunds on orders. Given that we must cover all production and shipping costs, as well as platform and transaction fees up front, all charges are final. We are unable to allow cancellations or refunds. However we want our backers to be delighted with their products. So, if there is a quality or receipt issue with a product, reach out to us through the BackerKit Help Desk and we will be happy to work with you on fixing the issue or getting you a replacement.

How can I tell what shipping costs will be?

All of our items are set up with US SHIPPING INCLUDED. So, if shipping within the US, you will not be charged anything extra for shipping. The non-US shipping rules are set up to flag non-US orders with a high shipping amount. If you are trying to place an order from outside the US, please contact us to discuss order and get an appropriate shipping rate applied.

Everything has shipped, with the exception of the Cowboy Crush hardcovers. We are waiting to hear back from the printer on whether or not there is a delay.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
